Chris McAbee - Journey to Freedom (10/28/2022)

Chris McAbee, a Gospel Vocalist in the Twin Cities, hosted his first Live Worship Recording at Grace Apostolic Church. This live performance was dedicated to God, his Faith, and the Journey to Freedom. The night was full of original and cover compositions of Gospel Praise and Worship music.

This particular event was a fulfilling challenge for me. For the first time in my lighting career, I was asked to design a show from the ground up, with no prior infrastructure, equipment, or explicit design plan - all while maintaining a limited budget. I spent a couple of months gathering quotes, designing diagrams, and planning electrical demands in preparation for transforming the chapel for the Live Recording. Ultimately, the lighting, and the recording as a whole, was successful. Thanks again to Chris McAbee and the rest of the team for the opportunity to be a part of this event.
